Pete Faucher recently ran his first 100 Mile race in the Forest of Haliburton and survived to tell the tale. It's a long story, but then again 100 miles is long way to go… enjoy!
Marathon Day in Montreal has been a tradition for decades, and many Phoenix runners have participated over the years. From Bruce Glasspoole who ran 2:34:57 in 1986 to 21 year old Shayan Mantegh who ran the half marathon in 1:20:54 this weekend, many Phoenixers have tackled the Montreal course. For the 2016 Edition we had no less than 17 Phoenix runners and friends who ran the marathon, half marathon and 10k. Congratulations to each and every one of them, you all put in a superb performance on the day. First Prize Photo goes to proud mom Josianne Larose who ran the 10k with her daughter Florence! Great job everyone!
A special mention to David Zerkler who paced his buddy Devin on his first marathon
and Chris Wilson who paced his daughter Emma. Real troopers!
