After many months of recovery from a broken ankle, Phoenix member Anna Maria Drouin was back in action competing recently at the Pointe-Claire half marathon. Anna Maria is a veteran marathoner and ultra marathoner, she has competed in the famous Comrades ultra marathon twice among other races. She has also crewed Kelvin Marshall, the Aussie ultra legend, at Bad Water, Western States, Coast to Kosciuszko, and many other ultras here in north America and Australia.
